Cam Position Sensor has oil on it. What cause?

Hi,

I replaced my CPS a month ago and that fixed my random stalling problem. When I pulled the old one out, I found it was covered in oil, and I read in the forum that the oil can cause the sensor short-circuited which killed it probably. But when I pulled the new sensor out yesterday, I saw it's covered in oil too. Anyone knows how oil gets on the sensor? a leaking inside? I am worried the new one is going bad too.
