Cam install ?

I was reading JWT's write up on installing cams, and I was wondering if when I install new cams do I need to break them in like in old push rod motors or can i just throw them in and check shim and be done?

Install them and set lash to FSM specs for cold, use a Good high pressure cam lube on them. When you get the engine started run it at or above 1500 rpm for 20 mins.........Recheck clearance hot......
