Cam gear gains

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but have never heard anyone talk about cam gear gains. I am curious what type of gains i would expect by adding either greddy or toda cams gears, without cams. I have seen cam gears effect other cars by adding as much as 10-15 hp... I know they will be beneficial, but have know idea what type of gains to expect. if you have any input, thanks.

they dont gain you anything unless you adjust the timing.
