i searched and i couldnt find anyone that has dyno sheets comparing dyno configurations on a KA-T (232/232, 240/248, 248/248, 248/232... etc) i currently have 248/248 setup on my KA-T, and i lost a great bit of low end when im not spooling. if you want to know how much watch the video i posted here: http://media.putfile.com/MOV05101my friend's gti VR6 was beating me till i spooled up... thats just sad

anyways, i found my s14 exhaust cam sitting around the other day in my garage (232) and i was just wondering how much low end would i regain and how much top end would i loose if i were to swap it with the 248 exhaust cam... i saw some dyno sheets about a year ago on freshalloy, but i cant find it anymore...

Here is my dyno with 240/248 cams on my 95 ka24de

different turbo, but has you can see, I have plenty of lowend and high end TQ...Do not mind the A/F has enthalpy is retuning a new chip for me. So hopefully I will have even better #'s I have plenty of off boost power, I can cruise around town in 5th gear...anything above 1.5k-2K rpm or higher and it drives fine...I am shocked how much TQ it has..

If the cams are timed right, you shouldn't lose any power with just 248's.

My setup is the Phatka-t kit minus the AEM. It has the 50lb injectors with the stock engine with about 60K. Also have lightened fly and ASP pulley. It is getting retuned and I should have the new tune shortly. then it is back to the dyno to see how it runs.
