CAM BROKE NEED HELP?

MY CAM ON THE EXHUST SIDE BROKE DONE A COMPRESSION CHECK 0000 ON ALL I KNOW THE VALVES ARE BENT I HAVE THE HEAD ABOUT OFF DO YOU THINK THEY GOT INTO THE PISTONS TRYING TO GET OUT AS CHEAP AS I CAN ANY IDEAS?

Will not know till you pull it off. never a cheap way out--find a used head and have that one reconditioned (cheaper than buying valves)

Um, how do you do a comp. check with a broken cam gear??

I took the cams out put the gauge in each plug hole and turned over the motor was that the wrong way?
