cam angle sensor problem

i noticed my s13 sr20det blacktop was running a little lean(14.9 afr). i scan for code, and found code 11 cam angle sensor problem. when i looked at the signal comming out of the cam angle senor, i got a good digital 5 volt signal. has anyone has this problem with their sr20det?

Sometimes the ECU will throw useless codes. Whenever the ECU throws a sensor code and you know the sensor is functioning just unplug it and plug it back in again. This happened to my friend a long time ago with his CAS.

i cleared the code and and unplug the cas connector and connected it back and it recoded a day later.

Ebay. CAS's dont go bad easily.

never buy a CAS on ebay. they sell a bunch of fakes. they will throw off your timing!
