cam angle sensor damage

Well, my rad blew and sprayed coolant all over my cam angle sensor which has a cracked cover on it completly soaking it and the whole engine bay, took it apart and the little wheel got a bit damaged, fairly straight though.

I'm not sure is this is why the car is running like crap or not, missing like crazy and will only cough and sputter enough to run for a couple seconds.

Any suggestions

Dry and clean the optical sensors in there with rubbing alcohol and that should help you out.

BTW your sig is too big.....

After reading that I saw the picture and thought the picture was the aftermath of the exploding radiator

Anyways, I am able to get a new sensor through work, hopefully that works.
