Just curious if any of you fellow memebers with black s14's have Interior work done, and what you have done. I myself was thinking of Black Pleather with Graphite Pleather Acsents. Just trying to dredge up some ideas.

I have a metallic black s14, sorry no pics yet:( . Interior is a bland gray cloth. I've been thinking of doing a dash trim kit of either carbon fiber or brushed aluminum. I'm kind of leaning towards the aluminum just cause carbon fiber is too dam trendy. I'm not gonna do the cloth yet though because I'll eventually switch the stock seats out. The trim kit I'm lookin at is very tasteful, only has peices for center console, base of shifter, and two pieces for each door; around the door handle area and around the window buttons.

my boyfreind did that to his car. looks really classy compared to CF and what have you.

Why not go for a real leather interior?

Shops seem to charge about double for the difference in Real Leather ... but I haven't priced it for about a year either. I don't know if I Live the Brushed Aluminum Idea, but it would be nice to see ... hard to invision.

I have thought about taking the section below the Factory Headunit out, pull the cigerrette lighter and ash tray out. Plexi that area, and put a Pyramid of 5 gauges there...

kind of like this:

.....O....O........O...O...O...

for your shift boot and ebrake boot you should go to the top of the page to the genuine leather ones from that website, they realy make your interior look alot better, they just look expensive, you can also see pictures of the s14 with the brushed aluminum dash kit on the website

I have a Black S-14, I have tan leather interior, it was a costom job that the last guy had done. I also have a Nismo shift knob, one of those wide angle rear view mirrors, and a Digital climate control. I think thats it, Oh yeah, and my Kenwood headunit. I love the leather though, it looks bad A$S. Ill try to post a pic of it tomorrow.

How did you get the digital climate control to work... I'm not sure with the s14. Is it easier than the s13...

I'm not sure how easy the S-13 is but the S-14 doesnt really require too many extras, most of the stuff is there. I got the controler from e-Bay and built a harness to fit in the US spec S-14. If you have a decent electroncs background (know how to solder, unpin, and read a schematic) u could easily do it. And you dont need a SR20 like a lot of people say. If u guys want I could make a parts list and give some install instructions.

Um... I can do basic stuff.. I'm planning on majoring in that field as soon as i graduate.

That would be great if I could get the list and install instructions

Check out Katzkin - They had a leather interior kit for my Civic for $700.

You'll pay more than that for that crappy fake leather (vinyl) at an upholstery shop.

Katzkin supplies all the leather interiors for cars that have DEALER-INSTALLED leather (cars that don't come from the factory with leather).

Whats needed for JDM Digital Climate Control Installation (S-14):-Climate Control from S-14-Wire Harness preferably uncut, if not avalible make one (I did) -Plug to fit Climate Control came from Infinti M-30 w/ Digital A/C -Mode Door Motor Plug M-30 (most newer nissans are the same, not needed from car equiped with Digtal A/C) -Air Mix Door Motor Plug 95 Nissan Maxima w/ Digital A/C -Blower Motor Plug Almost any newer Nissan 90+ -Bi-Level Door Motor Plug 95 Maxima (most newer nissans are the same, not needed from car equiped with Digtal A/C) -Thermo Control Amp S-13 (and Plug) -Fan Contol Amp 95 Maxima w/ Digital A/C (with Plug) -In-Vehicle Sensor from 95 Maxima w/ Digtial A/C (with Plug) -Aspirator From Infinti M-30 w/ Digital A/C -Sunload Sensor from 95 Maxima w/ Digital A/C -Ambient Air Sensor from 95 Maxima w/ Digital A/C -Femle side to the stock Manual A/C, look in some Nissans under the steering column theres a lil box with the right plug (used only so u dont have to cut your stock A/C harness, if you dont care if u cut the stock harness u dont need it) -Soldering Iron and Solder -Solder Sucker (used only to desolder female side to stock Manual A/C if you are not doing this u dont need it) -Heat shrink -Electrical tape -And TIME (IF you have an uncut harness and all hardware u are quite a few steps ahead)-Download Austrailian FSM from Zilvia.net for placement of all the sensors, I will expain but a pic might help too.(not all the parts have to come off the specific nissans i noted, im sure other nissans with digital a/c may work aswell, I will post the pics of the parts so you all can figure out which ones will work)
