Yep, I have a G35, and it's an autotragic. I am plenty happy with it.

Greddy EVO2 Exhaust on mine That vid was taken the day after I put it in. It sounds a lot better after getting really hot and breaking in. I'll make another vid soon. JWT pop chargerZ-Tube5/8 plenum spacer275/40/18 on the rear for better traction

And according to UPS, some of my suspension upgrades should be here tomorrow.

I have an 04 autotragic as well. I have an injen CAI full 3" magnaflow exhaust and it is AWSOME. If I could figure out how to put a video up I would show a clip of it.

You have to go to youtube, and upload the video. then just copy the address in the address bar, and post it here.

*Another forum put an auto vs. equally matched 6mt.* ( )

Well to my surprise the automatic won all 3 runs. The drivers switched cars and the automatic still won. I still don’t get it what does the auto have that the 6 speed doesn’t?

AT has a computer controling the shifts, there is no delay as in pushing in the clutch, and it shifts perfect everytime. RPM's are the same, and everything. Auto for drag, 6speed for people who want to feel the drive!. I would like to go against an auto. see if a short throw makes a difference.

Probably the fact that the auto has one less gear to go through, the autos in 350z and g35 were well built, its not like the tiptronic you would find in say, an rx8 or eclipse.

I have an auto G and I take it to the track. The auto is fast shifting. My car surprises the hell out of alot of people.

Some of the fastest cars are automatics. A friend of the family has a 9 second pontiac that is an auto.

Oh and my mods are in my sig.

As far as drag racing is concerned, most all drag cars run an auto transmission. Powerglide trannys are very common (2 speed transmission) as well as the use of a transbrake. If there is enough horsepower, the powerrglide will get you down the track really well. You can't beat a transbrake for a launch either. Nothing like hitting 5000 RPM, and then kicking the transbrake off.
