Calling out 1997-1998 240sx Owners....need help...

looking for a picture of stock gauge cluster on a 1997-1998 Nissan 240sx....

from what i've read in forums and other sites.. the 1997 - 1998 240sx comes with reverse indiglo gauges. if any owners can provide me with pictures of then on and off, it would be much appreciated.

reason being is, i don't like the look of the aftermarket indiglo gauges out there.

i don't like the large blue circle in the center of the gauges. here is a pic..



can anyone show me any aftermarket glo gauges that are similar to these ones but do not have the large glo in the center????

plus i have never seen the 97-98 stock gauges.

can anyone help me?

The 97-98's do NOT come with reverse indiglos. What forums and site did you hear that from? The gauge face is just white, not indiglo

i think they meant just plain reverse glow. that's the effect the gauges make. during the day, the face is white and the numbers are black. during the night, the face becomes dark (shadowed) and the numbers light up..

HOWEVER! i have the aftermarket indiglo i think you're looking for on my ride. =) the guy put them on before me though, so i don't know where he got them. i'll see if i can find out for you.

fyi not only 97-98s have white face gauges, its any s14 se or le.

you are wrong my friend... i own a 1995 240sx S14 SE.. and the gauges are black..

it's a S14 Zenki. 1995.. all the zenki's i've seen where i live have black face gauges.. i know my car.... and i have noticed the the kouki's have the white face but have never seen them lite up at night....

For clarification, all S14 SE 240's have the white faced gauges. All of them. If your title for the car says nissan 240sx SE, and your gauges are black, then someone switched them out.

Also, 95-96 gauges are different then the 97-98.

haha... yes sorry guys... i forgot to mention i am from canada... and we do everything backwards here..

the other S14 SE owners i have come across in my city have black gauges as well....

i guess us canadians weren't able to get the white gauges...

i would post a pic but i do no have a digital camera (we don't have digital cameras in canada yet.. )

do you guys think there is a way to "turn off" the large glow in the middle of the aftermarket gauges?..

simply buy cutting a wire or something like that...
