Racing starts at 7 pm so I'll be there at 7 :-)

I'll bring a set of slicks too you can try them and see if it makes a difference.

The windows are always down at Firebird? But yes that is a flock of elbows trying to swing out. My buddy that comes out with me and transports my tires is retired air force. After the first trip around the track I asked him if he though we were getting better then a G of cornering force. He laughed and said he was sure of it. I'd like to get a G-tech meter for next time to record my runs G force.

yep 275/40/17's at all 4 corners. The tires are Kumho V710's sticky sticky sticky... the tires run at 200-240 degrees surface once warmed up and pick up every pebble on the track :-)

This time I did 5 or so cool down laps around the pits at 5 mph so they don't flat spot when I park it. Last time I put it up on jacks between runs.

Done and Done! You can borrow my Gtech meter next time we go as long as I get shotgun! My brother brought his Gtech meter with him at Christmas and left it in my back seat... I asked him if he wanted me to mail it back to him and he said... nah... play with it for a while. I'm still learning by playing with it, but it's not as accurate as I thought. Pretty cool little toy!

Weather isn't going to be great. Should be mid 70's in the evening and about 30 inches of pressure. DA will probably be around 2500 feet. I'll run 14.3's

Fun Fun Fun - now I only need to find a route to work that takes me through the twisties - I guess splittin lanes when the fwy is dead stopped will have to do until I buy a house up the hill...
