I have a 1990 300zx na that I just rebuilt. I was driving it today all fine then all the sudden while my car sounds like it is loading up or missing really bad. I try to shift out over over drive and it will not come out of over drive so I try going in 2nd still will not down shift. Put the car in neutral and free revs great. Brought the car home checked the codes and have 33, 35,42,53 out. Both O2 sensors fuel temp sensor and an egregious which I have deleted. What would cause my car to run like this for a little while then work fine again then happen again?

Please help I have been chasing this all day and am so frustrated. Thank in advance.

That's pretty strange.
I would think a bad TCM could be to blame, and possibly a bad TPS. The latter would be easier to check.
If you clear all the codes, do they come back?

I think I found the problem. I have enticed that my wire that goes to my transmission was laying across my right side header and melted the wire compeatly. I will re do the wires tonight to let u know the results.

Just an update on my cars issues. It turned out that the reason why it was doing funky things is my starter wire that comes from my battery to the starter. replaced the wire and all my codes went away but I am still pulling a code 35 and I have a little hesitation every now and then. So now I need to find out why have have the hesitation I don't know if a O2 sensor will cause this. Any thoughts?

Yeah, a bad O2 sensor could cause bad Air fuel ratio feedback to the ECM, causing poor fuel economy, loss of power, hesitation, etc.

Ok so I haven't changed out my O2 sensor yet and I don't know it this is why my car has so much hesitation and it will happen when my car is at driving temperature will sound like it is missing from 2k though 3.5k. Then it will go away for a little while. I also can turn the car off and it will stop also. Any ideas what could be the problem?

As PapaSmurf said, bad O2 sensor(s) can cause all those things. I had a bit of hesitation here and there and lower than what I expected for fuel economy. Pulled ECM codes, even though there was no check engine light on, and got codes for both the O2 sensors. Got the Bosch sensors from RockAuto.com ( Part # 13091 ) for $31 each, installed them and BLAM, runs smooth as silk, and at last calculations, 22.8 miles per gallon. Change it and be on your way to driving bliss ;)
