The video lags, I am not great at deciding the best formatt for video so it actually lags so its not in time with the music after rendering and posting it on youtube. But thats what I started with.

hey, breadboxi saw your video, you said you had a lot of electronic music just throw some infected mushroom in the vid, psytrance will fix any problems with the vid being offbeat with the music

go with "i wish" by skazi or "becoming insane" infected mushroom

So a few years back a few of my buddies went sliding on a rainy day and we got some video for ****s and giggles. An s14 and a z32tt. Just a short video clip to some music. Ill post it later..by the way I work at a tv station editing videos all day and my buddy is real good at it. If we can get some rockin clips together he and him can probally make a bitchin' video for NICO!!!I post that short clip in a few minutes

I'm up for the challenge, iv edited over 500 + live television shows and shot more then 450 shows.

i own a full blown mac pro edit bay with 3 Tb's of HD space, Mackie 24 channel mixing board, mackie hr824's and 6's

i also produce music, electronic, trance, hip hop - so my music for this video will be completely original, all music composed and created by myself.

i dont know if i am gonna restrict the video to the Z though, i have some good datsun 510 footage, I'm gonna go out and shoot some video, so there some originality and not other peoples work.

the video was good, no doubt, the beginning was great,

a few words of advice,

here is what you can do - if you have no source video, then do this, it's in expensive and will allow you have something to work with, then you can go from there on developing good editing skills, timing and work on effects, al though depending on what program your using - your imagination may be limited to that program's ability, i recommend final cut pro...

if you arent a mac user then use something along the lines of vegas, i guess..

if you are a mac user but dont have fcp, get fcp express, it's always online, it's a slightly watered down version of fcp studio but it's functional enough for you to make a kickass video.

anyhow -

if you have no source video, do this ....

goto a local video rental store i.e blockbuster/hollywood video...

rent videos based on nissan cars, im sure if you all try hard enough you can find a dvd with a nissan car in it, or a video online for sale all about nissan 240's or something of that nature,

then what you do is rip the dvd at it's full quality, then convert it down to a file type that works with your video editing software, i am using fcp studio, so that means i needto convert down to .dv stream file or a .mov (quicktime movie file)

then import that file into your edit system and cut and paste parts of the videos to make something, if you do it the way i just mentioned, you will have full dvd quality high res video at your disposal and it'll only cost you a few bucks.

either to rent or buy. however you see fit.

another method is only if you have some kind of capture device or capture card, pop in Gran Turismo - any version 1 - 10 will do .. or however many there are...

the ps3 totally kickass with graphics and you can actually make a bombass video just with ps3 gran turismo replays..

all you have to do then is capture your video replys onto your computer, if you have a way, just hook up your ps1,ps2,ps3 to your capture card and capture gameplay or replays using the different camera modes...

combine that with the other option above and you have enough video to make something and if it's good enough SELL IT.

thats my 2 sense guys. just tryin to help - i hope this encourages everyone to make something !

To be hones I have to rant about one thing, the best motoring video... it's total bull****. Other than that AWESOME Z video cool stuff.

I LOVE Best motoring and hot version but unfortunately some of those older videos are total bull****... why you may ask? Well... lets see...

The boxster is the lower model and it's the old one which sucks, it shouldn't have been even there.

The GTR shouldn't have been there as it's world beyond any of those cars and was there as if on purpose to block the cars from behind (ridiculous).

The M3 and s2000 on the other hand imho would outhandle the 350z over and over again.

If you look at the 'best lap' even, you'll see that the m3 and s2000 have a better lap record than the z (think about it).

The gtr was used to block the cars and slow down the cars from behind. The boxster would have lost a long time ago... AND finally the bmw m3 driver was driving 'casually' and messing up on a few ocassions on purpose (Oh the car is too heavy mmm yea WHATEVER).

So I call bull**** on best motoring on that video.

Ironically in LATER best motoring and hot versoin videos the z does worse, bested by S2000 and other cars.

Likewise when they did an s2000 test, the s2000 somehow managed to be 'so good' against all competition lol. It's all a setup.

EVEN against lambos and ferraris I remember when they were contrasting japanese sports cars like the nsx, somehow they always manage to 'mess up' driving and go behind eventually loosing. Like that one time with the Ferrari 360 modena, somehow he manages to slide... and almost spin out (or if i recall even did spin out). Or how about misshifts lol.. please...

Always the japanese cars are driven like they're stolen, hands, feet and head movements insane, while european cars are driven ever so casually, or clumsily.

That's all I have to say on that.

No offense on the video, the Z is a great car, but from a truth stand point, this is the truth.

I was very frustrated watching this video (from best motoring not the z video as a whole ,the z video was awesome), and this one other one with evos and stis vs m3 and some other european cars (if i recall) and this one other one against lambos, ferraris and the like vs nsx, sti, etc... total bs, total setup.

Now on the other hand, there ARE videos where they show real head to head competition, but just these select few really get on my nerves lol.

Oh and, yes we need an S chassis video As I'm an S-chassis owner and lover :P

Sorry had to get that out of my system as it's been bothering me each time i see that best motoring clip (and the select few others I mentioned).

Any race can be lost by doing something as simple as getting rocked off the starting line. Gan-san (the dude driving the S2000) is a old loony maniac that always takes these races way too seriously to the point of driving mere centimeters off other cars bumpers at full speed. He is also a s2000/nsx fanatic and an extremely harsh critic of the Z, I can't imagine he would lose on purpose, especially driving that car in that matchup. The M3 is better, but it is also about 2 times the price of a Z. The GT-R was in the race strictly as a camera car/benchmark. I have seen tons of best motoring/hot version races where the car with the fastest lap time doesn't finish first (Its a common occurrence in pro races too). BTW, I have seen the S2000 lose to the 350z in another hot version race as well, the one with the Amuse Fairlady Z vs the Amuse "touge champion" S2000 R1.

the z vid was put together nicely. im anticipatin seeing some more of yalls work i love video editing. it has been in my blood for about 10 yrs. in my first post i put some links up for some videos i previously done which feat mostly 240s. the soundtracks arent my favorite at all but feel free to check them out. im not gonna bother putting the link up twice as im planning on maybe editing a new vid to meet the criteria of this thread a little more. im glad to see there are some video enthusiasts on this forum. yall keep the videos coming.

you google it and one of the top sites lets you copy the URL and then you DL it. Then you convert it to a video formatt that is useable in you video editer.
