I just noticed this tonight when I looked at my A/C controls only the green lights came on. It looked like this...

Isn't it supposed to look like this?

It looks like just the white lights went out, or was did the logos light up to begin with? Also my gauge cluster got brighter too.

Did you check fuses? Everything should light up....I just went out and checked mine to make sure...

What are the fuses for just the white lights labeled? I went out and checked my kickpanel list (not the actual fuses) and saw nothing that looked close, just one that was "A/C" but I have a feeling thats the actual compresser.

Its suppose to look like the bottom pic. Sometimes the small light bulbs loosen up or burn out. Sometimes you have push them back in or replace them. I have this problem on my last 2 240sx. I'm to lazy to fix it on my current one. Pop the plastic cover off and I believe its 4 screws/bolts to get the climate control out. Not to hard.

Is there seperate bulbs for every symbol? If there are like 10 different bulbs it looks like a wire connection problem, dammit. Hmm, I think I tried to look at the HVAC controls one time to convert to leds, I unscrewed the four screws at the corners to free the box itself but I think the wires on the back are permenatly connected. The face of it looked complicated to get off, and I wasn't about to force it off, any tips?

all mine work like the 2nd pic, i think those lights fall under the "accesories" fuse in the kick panel.

IIRC all those interior lights are controlled by the fuse titled "accessories" in the panel near the driver's feet.

I'd just check everyone with a fuse tester.....Process of elimnation, man. That way you'll know for a fact if it was a fuse or not. Just curious...How many miles are on your car...If it ends up being the tiny bulbs behind the HVAC controls then you might just want to get a whole unit from another s13...Hell, you could get the JDM digital climate controller if your daring enough (just make sure you get the full harness and adaptors for it). Anyways good luck bro.

Lol relax guys I'm not up for an expensive electrical nightmare right now. My S13 is a 1993 garage kept with 64,000 miles, well I put a couple more on it now, but anyway its in really good condition for what it is, have you seen the pics I posted in Nico Gen? Anyway problem solved, the bulb was loose I suppose. I just yanked the two A/C control sliders back and fourth hard and it came back on. Also its just one bulb and the green lights come on all the time so there is no wiring headache if they only came on at night, phew. Anyway, I still want to convert to led, agian any tips on how to remvoe the face?

Wait, you said if it ends up being the tiny bulbs replace the whole damn thing? Didn't 574-240sx say you could just replace them, hence open the HVAC box?

I believe its just a few on the top of the climate control when you pull it out. They should be right on top. There is no opening the climate control the tiny bulbs are accessable. I think they screw out with a philips screw driver. It has been a while since I did it.

Yeah I did say if it ends up being the tiny bulbs then just replace the whole thing. Here's why I said that: I wouldn't want to take apart something like the HVAC controls because ME personally would most likely end up breaking something by accident. I don't beleive your suppose to open up the HVAC controls. Just go with the JDM Digital for an upgrade....and do a write -up on it as well....lol

change your bulbs, its easy just remove the radio and tray, take out the 4 bolts then you can let the hvac controlls hang down you dont even have to take the black plastic piece off like in my picture there a little hinge on it so you just peel this small finger like part back and there are the two little bulbs.

I dont think the face comes off either its all one piece you would probably ruin the face if you try to take it off.
