Enough of this madness.

Every day, I see another thread about "OFMG WAT ENGINE IS BETTAR?" or "WTFX THE KA WOULD SO SMOKE AN SR ANY DAY."

Yes, I know there's a big orange search button up to my right, but hey! I'm lazy, and willing to bet that everyone else would benefit from a nice sticky containing a big dose of technical and subjective information.

Specifically, what I'm asking for is for everyone to post completely (factual and verifiable) information concerning the common engines: KA24E(T),KA24DE(T), CA18DET, SR20DET, RB20DET, RB25DET.

As well as the less common ones: RB26DET(T), VG30DET(T), LS1 V8 (Yes, this means you aries... give us the gritty details), and anything else.

I guess that it would be tough relating turbo engines to each other in terms of HP to boost PSI, so lets keep HP/TQ numbers to what they came with stock. Otherwise,

Also appreciated would be links to engine importers, subjective information such as the strengths and weaknesses of each engine, ease of swap, etc.

Pretty much anything helps as long as it's not :spam:.

I think this could make NICO rule more than it already does... which is tough but do-able. :D

Although I have looked at all the possible engine choices and decided my engine swap path, I think this is a great idea.

Post info people!

say everyone ACTUALLY did all this after your one post about it, there would still be one problem. People would still start threads asking those same stupid questions. Also the info really isnt that hard to get if you know what it is your looking for, ever even checked the articles section? I might be coming across as a d!ck or whatever but what your asking for is a book. A book youve already admitted were too lazy to find your own info to benefit from, let alone make. Just trying to help you better understand. Searching isnt tough, and as far as being too lazy to move a mouse, and then, omg, move your arms and hands to type in a search field...

its a great thing to hope for, I wish I had something like that a few years ago. But its not gonna happen.

Meh.

If need be, i'll research and post the isht myself. I was more hoping we could get a community effort going rather than just me. The lazy thing was a crack at myself.

Truth be told, I have almost no experience in engine swaps, and certainly none with any other engine than the KA, and that's pretty limited as well. I'm fully willing to write this all out, I just want to keep stupid errors and what not down to a minumum.

If anybody promises to sticky it when I'm finished, then I'll start work tonight. Anyone that knows a lot about the various swaps, please contribute. I'm not asking for a book, just maybe a couple pages.

That is the reason it's necessary.

The comedy "LOL WTFXZ ARE YUO DOING!!! SERCH BUTTAN!!" options are great and all. Thanks guys!

If anyone would like to post subjective information about the various swaps, that would be greatly appreciated. I have no clue about the difficulty and parts needed, as I have never performed an engine swap.
