Well, im getting those Koni Yellow i've been talking about. But i've been doing research the last 5 hours on them, and from some of the post i've read it sounds like i need to do some fabrication to install them... Am i reading it right, or have i been doing to much reading? And is it really a PITA to adjust the rear shocks?

BTW: This is going on my 1991 240SX Coupe

the fronts are strut inserts... you have to do some sawing I believe... the rears are ONLY adjustable off the car, but they can be modified to be be adjustable on the car (not sure how much it is).

i have sortof a write up on here somewhere, search for it.

but yeah, the fronts are insersts, meaning that you have to saw off the top part of the stock struts, (above the spring seat), and drill a hole in the bottom of the stock struts, and drop the konis inside, and they give you a bolt to screw in through the bottom into the bottom of the konis.

fronts adjustable on the car, at the top on the strut, rears, you have to take off the car and compress them and turn them to adjust.

and there is a company that you can send them to to have them re-valved for your specific spring rate, and you can get them to modify them to be both bump and rebound adjustable, as they only come rebound adjustable (or might be just bump, i forget)

but i fully recommend them, if you are going with a spring/shock setup.

Koni's are awesome shocks but kinda pricey. Then again, they don't really lose their resell value either if you plan on switching to coilovers later. Just hacksawing the front struts for the inserts were a pain.
