calling all 240sx owners

Hello to everyone with one of these perfect (in my opinion) cars. I was just wonderin if any of you are located in GA. I used to live in Newnan, GA and there were only 3 of us and the other 2 were 300zx's. I now live in Carrolton, GA. I attend State University of West GA. If any of you are near we should meet destroy the civics.

haha, welcome to NICO, i hope u find everyone here very helpful and informative, and you seem very excited to own a 24o, which is good, but they are by no means 'perfect' however with a lil money, blood sweat and tears, they can be all you want. Also, watch which civics you pick on, we have to here in louisiana near my home that runs 13.3o's *street tires* and another one runs mid 12s *street tires* and 11.9s on slicks, and the faster on is a four door!

I live near Macon, but I'm nowhere near finished with my 240. I just had it delivered about a month ago. I've basically just been doing research and planning out my buildup. How far is Carrolton from Macon?:hitit

I'd say your statements are far too blanket and subjective. Knowledge and research will be the key to knowing the particular pros and cons of each vehicle, and the best, most efficient ways to enhance each.

PS: The air vents?? Just so you know, most people here couldn't care less about junk like that. "vents in front of the steering wheel are the best when is cold and hot since a/c and heat come out and warm your hands". I think this is possibly the most HORRIBLY constructed sentence ever. Perhaps you like the vents in front of the steering wheel because in any situation where air conditioning is required there is a vent to direct it right to your hands.

What I said is my opion on S13s. I know many people don't care about where the vents are! And I know many Hondas can take me if they have mods. The Last Civic I had was a EX Coupe and it was Turbo charged. As Soon as I got my S13, I think GOD i sold the POS civic. Don't get me wrong I love Hondas. In my drive way I got 3 Hondas right now. (Dad, Step mom and my Integra), but it just not as much fun as the S13.:ylsuper The Only Cons I can think of for all 240SX in the states from the show room is that, we don't get the SR20DET, but got the KA24s.

And the other con i can think of is that we don't get the Silvia front end in the state enither. As you can tell I love my S13 240SX, that is why I am saleing my Integra for another S13 240SX Hatch! So I can make a set of S13s Coupe and Hatch:ylsuper

Nah I am not going for a SR yet! I want a Hatch very very bad. And I need a ride if I do put my coupe under the knife first. But I know for sure I want a hatch and turn it into a K-180SX (96-98). Also The couple only has 115.000 miles on it so no point of takeing it out yet!

You sound ricist.. No racist.. Ricist.. You almost sound like most fthe newbies that own civic vtec si and think cuz its a vtec you kill anything.. you may beat them but just think.. they are slow so that must make you slow as well.. maybe next time you shouldn't brag bout something thats not true cuz i bet you my money thats in my account (6G's) that you've been beaten and won't admit it cuz you think Nissan is god or something.

Ok here is my point. No I have never got beat by a Civic. And Like I say I use to own a 90 civic Hatch, a 95 civic EX Coupe and a 97 Civic EX. Since I use to think VTEC is god. But until I ride in my dads friend 240SX, That is when I saw the light and brought my self a S13. My 97 EX was turbo charged and it still did not give me the feeling or the fun I have with my 240SX. I know a Civic with a B18C and some mod will kill me. But I am talking about Stock VS Stock. I don't want to turn this into a war. Like I said before I still own a Honda which is a Integra LS. both my Step mom and dad own Accord 99 V6 and 03 V6. And both of them would leave me behind without going pushing it.And by the way I hate Rice. The last civic I had people walk up to me and say how clean it is. I like to build sleepers not ricers!

HAHAHA:pface Nope Never got beaten by a Civic. I have nothing to lose if I did get beaten before since I bet there is tons that can smoke me but I just have not race one yet! Since I am thinking right now. I think my EK was faster but that was In the high RPMS where VTEC kicks in and the Turbo Kicks in. But hey the Civic was turbo of couse is fast somewhat. But wait till I get a hatch and Drop a SR20DET. Hehe!:ylsuper

P.S When I was in my driveing age the newbies of today are still holding their mommys hands. So that should tell you I am not a Teen and in my 20s!

Any Gwinnett owners want to get a local owner's gathering together? Dave and Buster's in Gwinnett has a large unused parking lot, as well as food and games.

I go to a place in Loganville that has always done great work for me and my father... infact they are fixing my drivers side automatic window tomorrow for $234 (motor is good , track thingie is bad)

I warn you though they can be a bit pricey but they do excellent work, the name is Bentleys on hwy 20 in Loganville... If you are serious hit me up .. I know the guy and my father also does .. maybe he will cut you a deal (donno) since we brought him so much business :ylsuper

actually a 99 accord v6 wouldnt beat a 5spd 24o 'without eveng pushing it', ive run a 6cyl accord in my 4cyl altima auto (and the accord v6s only came in auto, so im sure yours is) and i beat it by about 5feet (close race), now the new 24oHP v6 would own you, but not the 2oohp, my friends 93 24o can keep up with me from a stop, so if u were to run against the 99 from a stop, you'd easily keep up
