Although my cell phone (Blackberry 8700) is set to block my number and is displayed to the people i call as "private number"when not in my car, I've found out that when i place the call through my in car bluetooth/voice recognition, it DOES display my number to whomever i call! Anyone know why, or how to block identity on my car's outgoing calls ???

Justa thought, but if your phone has profiles, its possible that the profile changes when your in "handsfree" and that profile has send caller id enabled...

I also make the assumption your using a GSM phone, where the "block" id is a menu option to enable, or disable, the CDMA phones I dont belive support this network feature...tk
