team definitely makes it better...I am really enjoying it. I gave on my KDR and am just running around having fun with it. The game is 10x better, and my KDR went up, lol. I really like the assault, support, and specialist setup they have now too. I ran specialist last night while playing for most domination caps in an elite tourney and let me say....I didn't think I'd like it, but it was freckin awesome! You don't worry about kills and you basically become this behemoth of a killer.

Okay so earlier in the week I went 13-0 and I thought I would never play another no death match again but yesterday I went 8-0 on Bakaara, which for me is a hard map to not die on thanks to all the campers and hiding places. Anywho I got my attack chopper and I went to use it and because the enemy had a single helicopter in the air it wouldn't let me. I know I've played matches before where we had two choppers and the enemy had at least one. I guess one of the updates they did put an end to that.

It kinda pissed me off because I finally got to use my attack chopper and when I got around to using my care package I found it was a damn osprey gunner but by that time the match was over

I have noticed that for the most part care packages in this game are badass compared to black ops, it was always a damn spy plane in black ops but in MW3 I have frequently gotten osprey gunner, precision air strike, strafe run, stealth b0mber, etc.

^This is true, I have yet to really use the Support kill streaks, I think I'm going to try that out tonight maybe. I'm starting to get tired of the people so painfully obviously cheating on here, I truly wish that they do something about it but I doubt they will, until then I'll just keep leaving rooms when people "magically" know exactly where the enemy is and when to aim and happen conveniently lag at just the right time.

Not true, there aren't really any glitchers or hacks in the BF games, partly because they actually designed and tested them properly but mostly because the hardcore fans and players won't allow s*** like that to happen.

I have watched videos of people able to exploit BF spawns by placing sentry guns near run ways so as planes take off they get shot down almost immediately. EVERY game has issues and exploits; when millions of people play on the same maps long enough, they will find ways to "break" the game. Maybe it is less prominent in BF3 as it is in MW3 but it does happen. Besides what's happening to SBC 240Z is explainable...

Lag compensation is a BIG issue right now in MW3. To be honest... they fuc*ed up big time. I hope that they figure it out soon or even better, remove it. You might have a particularly good connection and so you are being punished. As for right now, I would hold off until the next patch comes out.

Another thing many people don't pay much attention to is the "Recon" perk. May times I have found my self saying, "WTF! That's BS, how did he know exactly where I was?" only to find out that I was being tagged by someone with the Recon perk. Most likely your issues are because of the lag compensation but this could also be what's happening. I feel your pain, I went from a 2.5 K/D playing in BLOPs to a 1.6 K/D player in MW3 and I have a particularly good connection (25up / 25 down with a 12ms ping to the closest Verizon server) and I am dealing with the same stuff.

That makes me feel better. I sometimes spend half the match watching kill cams trying to see if I was legitimately killed or not. If I'm playing against some genuinely good players I don't mind because it was fair because sometimes you just know someone isn't playing fair one way or another. Call me racist but if I go in a room and there are bunch of people speaking Spanish I just go ahead and leave. Every time I get stuck in a room where Spanish the predominant language there is always lag issues or questionable playing going on. I do the same when I go in a room and see a bunch of people that are already 5th 6th or 8th prestige.

Also, I have finally given the Support Strike Packages a chance and absolutely love them. I didn't realize that with these you don't lose your killstreak count when you die, that's just flippin awesome. I'm getting a lot of laughs out of the booby trapped care packages. I try to make it less obvious what it is by dropping where I would normally drop a package and actually guarding it like it's a genuine care package.

I'm just curious for everyone that's playing this what their top 3 most loved and hated maps are?

2. Mission- for some reason I always do well on this map
3. Bakaara- nice spacious map

1. Resistance- same as seatown i always get caught off guard on this one
2. Seatown- its a nice big map but I always do terrible on it
3. Downturn- i just find it too hard to watch your back on this map

BF3 is the exception, the hit markers are off and certain weapons are way over powered. I absolutely rock on Bad Company 1 & 2 and BF 1943 but I'm having a b**** of a time achieving the same effect w/ BF 3. I can't tell you how many times I've been one shotted from clear across the map but can't do the same with the opposing team. Plus the zero for sniper rifles is off, it used to be that if you had the cross hairs 1 or 2 mil dots above their head @ 500 meters you were guaranteed a head shot now its 3 mils up and 2 mills left or right depending on the map.
As far as MW3 goes I've found that the best approach is a run creep run around the perimeter of the map and the siper rifles are in effect useless unless you no scope or quick scope which is complete garbage. MW andMW 2 are the 2 best COD games, they should have stayed with the same engine and programmng and just added to it. I've yet to really seemuch of the lag latency issues I point and shoot and they generally die. My main complaint are the run and gunners 1 sec theyre there you die theyre gone.

I've only played about 20 min of MW3 and I really like it. I have yet to touch Battlefield (I'm slacking, I know) But I should probably get on that ball. Ahhh. I love shooter games, even though I suck at them and grenade my own teammates! YAY!

I really enjoy being able to hear people cuss me after I've killed them. There was a guy holed up in a building camping and he just kept killing me over and over and over and over. I finally caught him off guard and when I finally killed him he screamed in his mike "F&*k you Hybrid you F&*$ing camper!". I'm sitting there wondering how I'm camping by killing a camper?

By chance I kept killing this 12y/o on Arkaden, I guess I must have killed him six or seven time and when we got back to the lobby he told me how much both myself and my Gold ACR sucked then announced that he was rage quitting, then he did. haha

haha I love pissin people off. But like if the camper goes to the same spot, said camper will continue to die in that same spot. They only do it to themselves. Its tricky when they move around from corner to corner, thats when they end up killing me repeatedly and man that pisses me off. I have been known to send nasty messages lol. But a 15th prestige laying down in grass or in corners all the time is just rediculous. They can get pissed when I find them and F them up, and they can leave my lobby. GTFO.

Like 2 days ago this ahole was talking all this crap and was callin me out on a 1 on 1. I usually dont but eff it, lets go. Although he had some serious skill with the tomohawk and ballistic knives, the guns are what rak up kills. Needless to say he got punished and was making excuses about not even trying.. GTFO..

Were you playing on BlacksOps? I haven't touched that game since MW3 came out. I wonder how many people are still playing it. Last night I went 23-2, I was pretty happy with that because I figured I would do horrible in that particular match, it was on Interchange and I was trying to do the "50 one shot one kill" challenge just so I could finish up all the Basic Training challenges. Well, I never use sniper rifles, . . at all. I was careful during the match and after I got my predator missile I took a guy out, then another with the rifle, got my attack chopper, I let that get me two kills which got me the reaper and the I started laying waste to everyone all while the chopper was still getting me kills.

Yeah it was blops. There are still like 250,000 at its peak but as low as 100,000.

A friend brought it over and I played it today on PS3. Its ok I guess but still had bs deaths. Then we played some Survival which I love. I sware if I get it for xmas, thats all Im playing.

Getting pretty close to prestige-ing for the second time. I've seen people already at 6th prestige. That's a lot of damn playing, I've already got two and a half days in the game and I'm only lvl 73 1st prestige.

Hell, I'm barely level 060. I don't even know if I will prestige.

I'm ashamed of myself, I checked my stats last night and I have over three days in this game already. My K/D would be better but it took me nearly to level 50 before I could start consistently going positive. I guess it just took m longer than everyone else to get use to the maps. Now with all the questionable players and "tactics" going on I still occasionally have a really bad match but, whenever you're player TDM and within a minute the other team is already at 6000pts there's something going on.

I seriously haven't played Forza 4, BF3 or MW3 since like a week after they came out, I picked up a used copy of Saints Row 2 and got NFS The Run for my Bday have been playing them. With Christmas this weekend I doubt I'll be playing anything but Arkham City or AC Revelations for the next month. The new Ghost Recon comes out Feb time frame and I think the new Rainbow Six comes out shortly after so I might play Forza 4, BF3 or MW3 again sometime in June.

I do camp much more in MW3 than in Blops and I hate it but by doing so I help the team by busting my butt protecting B flag or using my AC-130s to allow team mates to capture a flag that other wise would of been difficult. There is nothing I hate more than losing so I almost never play alone. Most of the time I play in 5-6 man lobbies or 7-9 man GW lobbies. The minimum amount I usually play with is 4 man lobbies (me and 3 others).

I would find friends that play at the same time. Try to friend "randoms" that are really good that you see online. If a kid goes 40-12, then try to joke around with him/her, say something like "hey can you send me an invite because I would rather not play by myself". Usually that helps. Get into a game with those players and make call outs and have good games, they will notice and add you as a friend. You can also try HUPIT Gaming (Helping United People Into Teams). It's like a dating site for gamers. You can post up your age experience level ect. It's a great tool.

After level 30 things slow down because how the XP is distributed.

• Lvl 1 to lvl 2 is 800xp
  Lvl 30 to lvl 31 is 14600xp
  Lvl 50 to lvl 51 is 26150xp
  
  and finally
  Lvl 80 to max is 50500xp

It isn't because of the challenges. It's because the xp requirements grows exponentially.
Fun fact: 50% of your prestigious total XP happens at level 60.

• Lvl 1 to lvl 60 = 50% of your total prestige XP
  Lvl 60 - Lvl 80 = the other 50%

Great tips RCA, I went through and read that entire link. Some of it I hard already learned either through personal experience or other MW3 sites. I have yet to really try and run through the game using all the weapons to complete those challenges. I really know that I should but I know my K/D would suffer greatly. My first prestige I solely used the M4, swearing it was the best, then I switched to the ACR and haven't looked back, ACR and MP9 both suppressed seems to be the golden ticket for me, at least until I unlock the stinger then I go on a helicopter rampage.

My personal opinion is wtf is up with the SMAW? it's the biggest POS in the game, you get one round and on EVERYTHING (except UAVs) you get a hit marker. So what good is a launcher if you only get a hit marker and have no reload?

I'm kind of disappointed that I haven't been able to take advantage of christmas noobs, I got on last night and saw only experienced players. Got stuck with some super laggers in one match, guy kept shooting me from across the map with the striker and every time I would fire at him the game would super lag and I'd die, respawn and everything is fine, find him shoot him once and lag again.

Haven't posted in a while. Figured now was as good a time as any...

I'm not sure how I feel about the game. I enjoy it much more than Black Ops, but it doesn't quite live up to MW2 in my opinion. And definitely not COD4. I'm not dying to pick up the controller like I was with those. A new job and mustang project are probably contributing to that, but still, I'm playing less than an hour a day. The maps are ok, but still somewhat symmetrical like BO, with only a few parts that deviate in free-form. And I'm not a sniper, but I enjoy large areas with open lines of sight.

Like everyone else, my K/D ratio suffered horribly when I first started. I've always been well over 2.00 with the others. And as such, I've adjusted to a semi-camping strategy. Pick a spot, take out 1 or 2 guys, move on. I was rocking the SCAR for awhile, as that was my weapon of choice in MW2, and I prefer the iron-sights on it. But now, depending on the map, it's the ACR or Type-95, with a silenced MP9. They do the job, pure and simple. Plus I started playing hardcore domination, which has a normal respawn rate. Much more enjoyable, even though the ricochet aspect gets tedious when a teammate crosses in front of you.

I was having fun with the christmas newbs the last 2 days. LOTS of kills/XP. But today I definitely noticed the laggers creeping in. I'm on PS3, and I'm sure 360 is just as bad.

I definitely know what you mean, I've been destroying the Christmas noobs the past couple days but last night I got on Dome TDM and went 10-20 against a bunch of level 27s and 15s, I would be falling down dead before I fully came around a corner to even see who was about to shoot me. Dome is my map, of all the maps Dome is when I rape people, doesn't matter if they're twice the rank I am, twice the skill, I know how to play Dome for what it is (I guess that's because it reminds me of nuketown and I loved nuketown) so when I go super negative on that map I know something is wrong. If it weren't for matches like those my K/D would be a lot healthier, as it is its around 1.159 right now even though I steadily go 25-12, 20-10,18-4, etc.

I'm waiting for Dome 24/7 double xp, PORQUE!!!
