Hey guys, so I was testing out my 240 to see if my cluster problems and my cooling problems were gone (still there  ). I was saying how I'm going to sell my car quickly and how this is a money waster, P.O.S etc. I was having a bad day. well anyway, after the cluster died I was still driving it and there was nobody on the street middle of nowhere and I just said f*** my problems and I drifted the next turn I saw and blew me away :mike . And well it cheered me up even though it over heated after. Just wonder if you guys have any good 240 stories how your 240 came through in the clutch or just good ones in general?

Nope. The day before I sold it, I was stuck on a road behind my house. Called everybody in my phone, everyone was at work or didnt answer, sat there in the windy cold as the sun was setting for almost an hour with a dead car until someone finally came through.

Your car seems to be overheating like mine was. Do you know if you are losing coolant?

well one night i got pulled over for speeding, my girl and i were sitting while the cop was in the car. He comes to the window and says, "john i'm going to have to ask you to step out of the vehicle." As soon as i heard those words i thought i was getting arrested. I was only doing 50 in a 30, so i was really confused. He brings me around the car to the side where the filler hose is for the gas tank and gas is just pissing out of where the hose conects to the tank. I dont know what happend but he had me shut the car off and i needed to get a tow. He ended not giving me the ticket($215), but triple A wont tow if there is a gas leak(saftey hazard). so we called the fire dept. They took like 45 min to clear it(volunteers). and then finally i got a tow. But the moral of the story is that my car is so scared of cops it literally pissed itsself and got me out of a ticket because the cop knew i was payin out the butt for the tow.

Lol some funny stories :) ... I had a bad case of over heating. I drive a s14 s1 with the sr20det turned out one of the water pipes going to the turbo was cracked and leakinso little that it evaporated before it could drip. So check them pipes. It was just hair line fracture and a pain in the a** to find. Fix is either replace or use an oxy and re-brace it ;)
