just did major brake overhaul, including all new oem pads, shims, and caliper kits, and caliper pins. pins lubed up well prior to install. everything torqued to spec.

now have fairly prevalent rattle from front when going over braille dots with brakes released. if i just drag the brakes, no rattle.

it *did* do this to a lesser extent prior to pad replacement. thought sure the compleat treat would take care of it.

ideas?

out of the box thought is to plate some nickel on the old pins to thicken 'em up just a bit.

i suppose it could be a pad bouncing in there a bit, however like i said, all new shims and spring clips, used the 41003 03p25 gold shim grease, did not shoot any blue tacky (even though i thought about coating the part between the outer shim and the caliper pressure ponts).
