Next weekend im thinking about replaceing all 4 rotors and the pads on my 90 hatch. Is the any type ofupgrade i could do rather then replacing them with just 240 brakes and rotors from the local shop?

Slotted or drilled rotors do nothing for you on the street, so that would be out of the question. Only real upgrade you could do would be to get better pads, unless you want to do like a j30 or 300zx brake swap.

A lot of people like to upgrade to Axxis or Hawk pads, which is supposed to work better than oe replacement pads. You could also look at stainless steel braided brakelines to give you a slightly better pedal feel.

Other than those things, you're looking at either a z32 brake conversion, j30, or a big brake kit. I know that fastbrakes makes an affordable big brake kit for the stock 4 lug, and other company's make them for 5 lug conversions.

You can do the Q45 front swap for <200 if you source the parts cheap and turn in your old brake calpers for cores. If you are gonna spend over 100 to upgrade stock, it makes sense to upgrade IMO. For the price of stainless lines and new stock components you would be in the same territory. You'd have to redrill the rotors to 4 lug though if you are still 4 lug.
