I've tried to search about this issue but I could not find it. Everytime I unbolt my calipers the top bolt always breaks...... at least I think it is the top. I did the same thing for my 91' 240sx when installing new lug nut bolts and also my 2002 diamante when changing the rotor. On the 240sx I used hand tools and the diamante I used a impact wrench... but both times the top broke off of the bolt. Am I doing something wrong??? Why does that bolt always break..... any help would be greatly appreciated to enlighten me .

Pay attention to torque specs, don't over tighten. Use anti-seize on the threads.

You should NOT use anti-seize on the caliper bolt threads. If you do, you will ruin the bolts and the torque specification will not work because you will actually be using more force than required and you will stretch out the threads.
