I think it's a start. We do not have a 2 party system. The only people that benefit from the 2 party system are the two parties. The rest of the article is the big 2 freaking out about and calling it wrong for whatever reason. While I agree he may have ulterior motives for supporting it, I still think it's a good idea.

Seems like a good idea in part, but why only the top two rather than whoever wants to run?

Anyone can run in the 1 primary, and the top two have a run off election.
