California owners what do you do for performance?

I know domestics own that state becuase they have big displacement already. What the hell do you guys do for performance? I meen you can't drop an RB or SR (legally). Not like these non-carb states...

where do you live now? i live here in sac, but i'm not sure what you can do to ur car and not get ****ed for it. all i know is that its not much, which is why i'm sticking to suspension (it would be done, if i had the $$$).

i live in arizona. I keep going back and forth between arizona and california its kinda depressing but i will find my way someday... But if i move there i want to acheave that dispacher job.

I was thinking of a VG but obviously from a previous post its impossible. I would do suspention but thats not going to do much for the 1/4.
