I have a non california ka24e in a car with a california ecu so, its searching for input from the sensors that aren't there and throwing the corresponding diagnostic codes.

Does anyone know, if I swap in a non cali ecu will there be any issues caused by the cali wiring harness?

No the wirng harness doesn't matter, only the sensors that are available that matters. So if you throw code 32 EGR temp sensor/BPT/EGR it's because your engine doesn't come with those parts needed that the ecu will need to read......
