Calibrate 95 240sx Odometer / fix odometer problem

Hello,

i did a search for "odometer" till about mid 2005 and didn't see anything regarding my question.

the problem is that my odometer is off by about 6-7% over actual (2 GPS AND googlemaps verified) and my spedometer is off by about 3-4% over actual. From reading, it seems that the odometer and spedometer both receive signals from the speed sensor.

my question is probably several questions... is there any where to calibrate this, at least the odometer part? or, in your experience, is this more of a 90% working spedo sensor, and can it be cleaned or just replaced?
