Raining... what's ... raining... what is rain?.... I've heard of it.. I think I remember it from my past... but....for some reason..... I just can't put my finger on what is was, or what is sounded/felt like....JAFO wrote:They can pull you over just for tint. As for rolling your windows down when you see a cop, good luck with that when it starts raining (except for you in San Diego...because it NEVER rains there!

Lol, do what you want. I've been pulled over multiple times by, county, city, CHP, and military base police officers. I have also gotten multiple compliments that they appreciated the gesture of rolling down the windows and turning on the interior lights so they could see everything in the car. One of the biggest things a police officer fears on the job, is to be shot by a masked criminal inside a blacked out car. Ive heard it many times from many people.AwsSkater wrote:Yea, I kinda figured lowering my window right in front of them would be a bad idea. Im just gonna keep the tint and see how long I last =) If I get the ticket then the fronts are coming off, I much rather avoid a point on my license!
I live in the San Fernando valley area, so theres a bunch of ghetto cars with limo tint around for cops to have fun with. Mostly, they don't care around here. I'll be careful when I go to the OC area tho
Same thought.kyle@stillen wrote:As far as rolling down your windows when you see a cop. I wouldn't do that because if the cop sees you doing it, 9 times out of 10 they take that as a sign of "yes, I know that my window's are illegal and I am trying to hide them from you." At least that's what all the cops I've talked to have told me. Just keep them up and take the risk.
