Last i knew Wes couldn't get them anymore. But maybe that has changed. The only place i could ever find them in stock is on Rinkya.com but thats a hastle because its in japanese and from japan also you have to go through a a "middleman" and they get a percentage, but thats an option.

But Rinkya already translates the site for you.

Or get friendly with some NICO member that lives in Japan.

nobody "needs" lowering springs.....want, maybe. Be sure your girl is willing to put up with a harsher ride and increased tire wear in exchange for the look of a lowered car from the outside,,,,,,big price to pay for vanity.

Have you checked the Infiniti parts for sale section on this forum? I remember seeing a couple sets up for sale about a month ago. It's entirely possible they're gone, but those springs do seem to show up from time to time.

I'v been thinking about putting a set on my Q, but the combination of lack of funds, needing the car to go through an inspection where lower ride height fails (unless you have engineer's cert) and the fact that I live somewhere with a lot of winter snowfall means I haven't done it.

In my opinion a lower car is for looks only unless designed for it.

Well no laws here in Texas about being low , and as far as a lowered cars I think if you can manipulate a machine to do what it already does better why not.

Honestly lowering a luxury car is pointless in my mind, unless your going to go with a body kit, rims, crome, etc. But with all that said you might as well buy a whole new car all around. I was thinking about getting some lexan windows from GE(SABIC) in which i would get a significant discount since my uncle is an engineer there but i haven't gone there. As far as rinkya, i've ordered a few pieces from them its fairly easy, better to buy more than one thing to save on shipping and have them ship it in a single box. Best way is to call them, they have some decent translators over the phone.

Ehh dont listen to these guys, they're just trying to justify not spending any money on their old Qs.

Ive had lowering springs on my Q for years now and as long as you know the issues that you need to overcome, which in the grand scheme of things are minimal, you'll be fine.

Ive never once had to change the way I drive with any of the springs Ive had on my car (ive had 2 different sets, and a 3rd is waiting to go on).. I dont hit curbs and Ive never bottomed out..

But yeah, best bet is to find some springs in the classifieds, usually you can find them from people who either sold their Q or just dont wanna mess with it.

Yeah I dint know Nico was so opionated haha. I've driven slammed cars all my life as well as my fiancé. So I just wanted a source to get springs and I found that it's just the classifieds. Thanks guys. :mike
