There's quite a few nice 240s in Calgary, though they tend to be like ninjas.

That's why I made this post, to find out if any of them are regulars here.

I think more guys in Calgary and area need to see this thread first for it to be worth while. Infact, I'm not sure how many 240 owners in Calgary alone are actually on Nico, probably only a small percentage...

Hello people

My 240 coupe is the best car I have ever owned. It was cheap to buy, corners like a mini cooper, and until recently has been totally reliable. Its having engine trouble which hurts my soul. Basically it's intermittent drops in power/stumbling. This Nissan dealership has told me I have shorting occurring somewhere in my wiring harness, have you ever heard of this happening?

Ive been quoted $1200 to re-wire it, which seems really high to me. I have noticed that engine swaps include a new (used) wiring harness, so im considering the SR20det. Have any of you had work done by Speedtech? Or can you recommend a good shop in calgary? Help me save a fine automobile!

Been cruising nico for a bit and loved 240's forever, Im up here in Calgary Alberta Canada, and up here, 240's have that damned drift tax...

anyways here was my first 240 i purely bought to learn more about the car..

cleanest interior ever....

but then i soon sold it as i neared my lisence for a abled 240...

bye bye old 240.

and in with the new....

Thats as it sat cause it was stuck in the snow...

but i soon brought it home, snow melted and cleaned er up!

Tinted teh tails, and The light still shows quite strong... no worrries

Mind you, i did not put that exhaust on, or the wheels

in terms of plans, i just want to get it on new springs and shocks/struts for now.

Thanks for looking!

Hello fellow Calgary Nissan Owners. I'm not a 240 owner but I am one of the NICO forum Moderators and yes I do live in Calgary.

On August 23rd Calgary Z club is putting on it's 8th annual show & shine. Usually Nissan's of any type are welcome and they always like to have their 240 cousins in the mix.

Check out their calendar http://www.calgaryzclub.ca/calendar.html

I used to live in Burnaby so I was a member of v240. Was a pretty good club, lots of meets and people. Some *** hats tho but every club has those. I just moved to Calgary and would like to start some meets and forums up. I've seen a few 240s on deerfoot the last couple of days, a really nice red one lowerd with skirts and a white one that was being mr speedy. Calgary240 needs to get up and running asap.

Right, yeah. I own that site actually. I've been busy as hell lately, but I plan to throw up a forum and maybe some other stuff soon. Then we'll have to get the word out.. maybe post about it on beyond.ca, etc..
