CAI quick question.....
CAI quick question.....
I am considering getting a CAI. My question is....would this alter or void my warranty? I am thinking it would not, but I want to make sure.

There has already been a big thread on this subject. I forget what the end result was that we all came up with, but I think we said the MAF sensor is the only thing that will be voided. If damaged by a bad installation of the CAI I do not think you will be covered. The MAF is around 500 CA I think.

Nissan or the dealership would have to provide proof that your modification caused the failure they are addressing. If you're concerned and not worried about putting in a little sweat, keep your original parts around and reinstall them if you have to take the car in for warranty work.
