Anyone have one? I have the appropriate machinery to make my own exhaust manifold gasket from copper, but I need a CAD file of the gasket. If no one has one, a used gasket that is intact will work as well.

If GoofyNick is still out there, do you have one?

Are you talking about the lower turbo elbow gasket (3-bolt)? I could probably come up with something here at work in about 20 minutes and get it to scale. What kind of thickness are you looking for?

I would need one of the gasket between the turbo manifold and the head. Thanks!

ahhh i see. if you send me a gasket template I could probably get it in there, but I just got my motor started so I'm nowhere close to taking it apart yet

Actually, if you scan it and e-mail me a jpeg or whatever, I could trace it in ACAD.

That is where the problem lies. I don't have a complete gasket to scan. I may post a thread in a couple of days to see if anyone has an used complete one that is in halfway decent shape. Unfortunately mine got pretty torn up when I took the manifold off.

That might be a little difficult getting the ports lined up correctly. I guess it IS possible though.

Lay a big peice of thin white paper on the manifold, and start shadowing it with a pencil. you'll get an exact matchup.

try getting ahold of goofynick from this forum, he's been out of the game for a while now but he did have copper exh gaskets made for the rb20/25 there for a bit and they work EXTREMELY well.

It appears that I will be removing my head in the near future as I have a head gasket coolant leak problem. It has been concluded that it's a warped head and that it should be pulled to examine it. I could probably just do this exhaust manifold gasket drawing myself and send you the ACAD file when that happens. I wouldn't hold my breath though, I have a hell of a time finding time to work on my car. I will keep you posted yellow_jacket.

I would definetely appreciate it. I can relate to the time thing as well. Lately I just havn't had time to do much with the 240 or the RB25.

Just finished it up this afternoon. I'll send it to you via e-mail and let you tell me where it needs adjusting if any. The drawing was simply a trace of a scan of a trace of my old manifold, so it might not be exactly accurate, but fairly close. I expect a freebie out of this when we get it right

What's the good word? Have you made one yet? I e-mailed the file to the address on your user profile about a week ago.

Jon, you should make one of the stock turbo elbow flange. The odd 6 bolt one.
