I have a 2007 G35X and have been attempting to replace the old cabin micro filter. After I remove the glove box and the screws that hold the lower instrument access panel cover to get to the filter housing I cannot get the panel to come out. Is it stuck or are there clips I cannot see that may be holding it in place? I don't want to jerk hard on it and break any plastic parts. Does anyone know what might be holding it or maybe it is just stuck. Thanks

Haven't changed the one in our 08 yet (have done 04 and 05 b4), but
have you looked at the FAQ's

The microfilter replacement how-to linked above is my wife's 2007 G35s sedan so it should be the exact steps the OP uses. Same steps for all 07+ sedans and 08+ coupes.

Thanks for the response and help. Don't give up on helping me figure this out. Seems the only difference I am finding in the 37 is the lower instrument access panel that is directly behind the glove box and in front of the access to the filter. Everything else has been removed but this pesky thing is in there and won't come lose at the top front. I think I need a site that will specifically show photos of the process for 07 G35. Do you know any? Thanks again - J.

As I stated, the above how-to IS a 2007 G35 sedan so you should have the same steps. Did you remove the screw from step 5?

Finally got the filter changed. Problem was clips that were especially tight and had part of the compartment housing panel in a bind. After a lot of effort I finally mangaged to get things freed up without breaking the tabs. It was a much longer process than planned. Thanks for your help.
