Is there a DIY or some sort of print out that explains how to do a Cabin filter on the 2003-2004 M45? Infiniti quoted me $120 for parts and labor on this and I can’t see paying this for a replacement interior filter. I skipped out on this last week when I got my 30K done and now I’m in the mood to do it myself if possible. I was told that it is a complete kit and there may be as many as two filters.

I cleaned mine, you need to lower the glove box. The filter is kinda small. I was told there are seat filters, I haven't found these yet. If you need pictures I can email them tomrrow.

Do you know how to drop the glove box? The filter is on the left side of it behind a small panel that just pulls out. It's really very simple. I'll get you picture later this weekend.

I think I have posted pictures from the Service Manual before on removing the glove box and replacing the filter ... I'll go see if I can find these.

Reeeaally? How?

So inexpensive from Joe, much better to replace annually along with fuel and engine air filter.

The seat filters are a bear to get to.

The seat filters turns out to be real easy, no tools needed. You reach them from the behind the seat, just move the seat up all the way and reach under you'll feel the small square filter and pull it down. Change them in 30 seconds.

Joe Tsensky at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com. Sells OEM Parts for Infiniti models at an Infiniti dealer in Arizona ... it is their web site.

Joe has been helping us folks at NICO for years. He cannot do extra price reductions per se for NICO members - the web site prices are generally the same for us (lower than other Infiniti dealerships, though) as other visitors - but he often goes the extra mile to do things for regular and repeat customers. Like ship AirBorne at Ground rates, correct mistakes with good service, tell us about specials, etc.

I just had the Dealer replace the cabin filter at 30,000 miles. I requested the old filter to keep everyone honest. Man it was really dirty. Beside dirt there was dried leaves and pieces of flowering plants. Now, I don't get $70 for a 4" square paper filter impregnated with charcoal. $60/labor $56 online for do it yourself Whatever, change it at 30,000

Is this the cabin air filter? I just want to make sure before I purchase it.

Mechanical Catalog - 2003 - Infiniti - M45 Hvac, Controls, Blower motor, Air filter, Air filter, m45 $58.89

Also, what drop downs do you have to click to get to the seat filter?
