Hi Everyone, I'm a complete beginner to this sort of stuff but I thought I'd like to start taking care of some basic things like oil changes, cabin filter, and engine filter changes. Unfortunately, I have no idea on what parts to buy. If it's not too much to ask, could you please drop me 4 links to:

Oil (I use synthetic currently)
Oil filters
Cabin air filter
Engine air filter

I own a 2011 G37, Journey class. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I intend to look at the DYI instructions, but I also have a friend that is a mechanic that will probably be helping me if I need it. I tried doing this myself but whenever I think i found the item I need, there's 2 more that look just like it! Times are tough, $250-300 for cabin and engine filter at the dealer is not desireable. Thanks ;)

The Oil and oil filter change is easy...similar to any other car. I use Royal Purple synthetic and either Nissan OEM filters or WIX/NAPA filters.

For the in-cabin filter, usually it can wait until the car hits 20-30k miles. It's not that hard to do in your garage with simple hand tools. Look in the FSM on the DIY instructions (link in my sig).

Air filter....I recommend an intake kit, specifically R2C because it is a dry-type filter element. Do not use K&N or "oil-type" filters as they can damage the various sensors in the intake track.

Joe, you found cheap place for the in-cabin filter? I could use one in mine sometime soon. Always a battle to find one cheap with shipping vs buying at dealer.

Not sure if it's cheaper than a dealer...

I purchased my in-cabin filters from Mike (tunerzstore).

Installation is easy: http://www.infinitig37.com/g37-microfilter.html
