Hi all-

So its time for me to change my air filter and I am trying to decide between the "activated charcoal" one and the grape seed one.

On http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/ they are the same price, but I was wondering if anyone knew a difference in terms of what they do and the quality of them?

I have searched around other threads but did not find anything specifically comparing the two of them

I have always replaced mine with charcoal filters but I just did a quick google and found this:

The grape seed filter has two purposes...first it has the carbon on one side....that filters out allergens, pollution, etc. The second purpose is the grape seed extract which also adds to filtering pollution but it has the polyphenol that prevents your windows from fogging

I have never had troubles with fogging windows, but if you do, seems the grape seed is the way to go.

Yes, I have had some issues with windows fogging in the past.

According to the description on the website, the charcoal one is described as: "This In-Cabin A/C MicroFilter is made with Activated Charcoal, which has been designed to reduce odors that may come from outside your vehicle.

The Grape seed one on the other hand is described as: "
Nissan/Infiniti has developed a new type of high-performance filter using the anti-allergenic properties of natural grape seed polyphenol. The new filter is significantly more efficient in eliminating allergens that are the cause of pollen allergy."
