I was wondering when do I change my cabin air filter ? I don't know that much about what they do. I can guess, but I don't know what exactly I should do. I had a funny smell in my car for a few days. It didn't stink per se, but it was just a weird smell. It happened when I put the heat on. I am wondering if it means that I should be looking to change the air filter ?

I would start from cabin filter and see where that takes you.

It is a 15min job and filters are not expensive.
