cabin air filter

i understand that this is going to sound like a dumb question. i have an 06 xterra, where is the cabin air filter located?

TOOLS REQUIRED: 8mm Socket or Wrench

i understand that i may look like an idiot by saying this but i don't see any tabs on the sides of the glove box when i open it. i've tried to get it out but just can't figure it out. i feel stupid. somebody help!

I think they are actually underneith the glovebox. Find the pivots with your hands. The pivots are the pins and need to be pushed inward. Good luck.
