Well I got the glove box assembly off (what a PITA) but then could not fish out the filter. Kept feeling for a tab or something but never found one.

What did I miss?

Just crunch it up and pull it out...sometimes the tab is missing, and you have to just squeeze the filter up and rip it out.

I would like to change my cabin filter. Is there a thread in the forum with pics since it is so much trouble to remove the glove box? thanks

IDK if it's the same in the 05 but I didn't have trouble getting the glove box off. I had a hell of a time with the door in front of the filter. I broke both of the little brackets off in order to change it. You can tell everyone else who tried to change it gave up....it had never been changed in 50k miles.

My sister has a 08 Altima Coupe 3.5SE and she paid me a huge bucks to bring it to a repair shop. Figured out I can do it myself so I'd have the money. :chuckle: It's actually the first time I'll do this so I searched for a video about how to replace a cabin air filter. Are those all the necessary steps? i believe the video is a general instruction video. thanks for any help.
