hey guys/gals,

i am having a time trying to get my glove box out in order to replace the cabin air filter. i have read every FAQ i can find as well as searched for video, etc but i cannot get this thing out.

i removed all the required plastic trim pieces (door, kick panel, under the glove box) then removed the 4 screw up top. i understand that there two screws at the bottom (somewhere). every FAQ i have seen, they are removed with the glove box closed. the only two screws i can see could only be removed with the hatch open. i got the one on the right out, but the one on the left, because of its precarious position, i cannot get out for the life of me. i also found one screw all the way in the back behind the hatch when it is open and i removed that as well.

have I done everything right? and what is the daggum trick to get the screw out on the bottom left???
ive gotten myself so aggravated!

sure as anything, soon as i post a dumb question, i always figure it out immediately after. i got it folks. thanks.

no Faq that i have seen mentioned removing the trim above the box hatch. that was the key. and as far as the screws, i actually gave the hatch a light tug and remove it and unhooked the retainer cord. then with the hatch totally removed, i was able to get the final screw out. now that i am an expert, PM me if you need help.. hah

thanks again

So, the FSM didn't detail how to do it?? If not, will hit you up when....actually, I need to do this now on the 08 Sedan. Already done it twice on the coupe.
