Can someone tell me how to remove the two sets of wires from the inside of the glove box? I want to change my cabin filter but it's a little difficult if I can't get those two off.

I'm talking about the trunk switch BTW....Anyone?

Bump. I need to do this too, but haven't looked at it yet.

I'm my B15 Sentra it wasn't difficult at all, but it also didn't have a trunk killswitch in the glovebox.

don't bother with removing the glove box, you can change the filter without taking it off

It comes apart, it's a b**** because it's tight and you don't have a lot of room to work with. PITA.

After you take out all the screws and slide the glovebox forward, you'll be able to disconnect them. It's a lot like the connectors for the hazard switch and airbag light below the vents if you have ever taken that off. Use a needle nose pliers or a small flathead screwdriver to help squeeze the connector tabs to get them apart. There is also a string that connects to the glovebox door and goes to a thing that helps retract it that you have to feed through a little cutout, but I probably did that the hard way. Be careful with the little plastic tabby thing that helps unlatch the door to the filter compartment. I broke mine off, but then thought, 'ehh, wgaf' and put it back on there anyways.

I'm interested in hearing more about how to change it without taking the glovebox out, yo.

It can be done without removing the glove box; The question is can *you* specifically do it?

Fold down the passenger seat so that you can lay down on it. Now, slide under the glove box(if you have one of those headlight things, it comes in handy here.)

The rest is about the same, but the problem is that there's literally no room to maneuver. I have trouble doing it and I'm 5'9" tall and rather wiry.

The whole reason that I asked is because it's such a PITA to do it without taking the glove box off.

Yeah, but that would have to be done each and every time you change the filter.
