k so my CA20E wont start. the car is a 1988 200sx, 5 speed transmission. i drove it monday, parked it, then the next day it wouldnt start. it just turns over. there is no spark getting to the spark plugs but there is spark getting to the distributor. the coils are working fine. if you dont know already the CA20E is a 4 cylinder but 8 spark plugs, 4 intake side 4 exhaust side. also, after trying to start it for quite a while i pulled a spark plug out and it didnt smell like gas at all. so my guess its the distributor because its not telling the injectors to pump fuel in. fuel is getting to the injectors, i pulled the line right before the rail and it squirts out. so im puzzled. pulled the distributor cap and its clean and the rotor is in good condition and it spins fine when turned over. everything seems fine. but i dont get why no sparky sparky. any suggestions?? kinda need it running before friday. so any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE

so i had a thread going cuz my ca20e wouldnt start. it would just turn over. i didnt get spark or fuel.i changed the distributor, and now it gets spark, dont know if it gets fuel didnt have time to check. but the car turns over and does a constant backfire turning over... so the timing is wrong. any ideas how to get it right? the flywheel notches for timing are wierd. its just 6 | | | | | | ... none are more marked then the other or have a wider notch or anything. which timing mark do i use???

thanks for any help.
