Yes......it will bolt up and work fine.....I have a '84 s12 that had a ca18et as well, and thats what I did. You have to use the ca18det flywheel, and ca18et clutch.....I think you can use either clutch......but I already had a new ca-et dual friction clutch, so I just used it. transmission bolts right, plus you can use your exsisting driveshaft. You also need to use the ca-det starter as the ca-et starter won't work, since there is a different number of teeth on the ca-det flywheel.If you use the ca18det transmission, you have to cut out some of the transmission tunnel for the shifter to stick up through.....plus you have to get the driveshaft shortened.
