Hi, I'm after anything available for the s12 ca18et ecu, but especially the address file (.adr) or engine config file (.ini)

thanks

Never seen or heard of any info on those, you might try asking around on ztechz.. if nothing else if you can post a rom maybe someone can figure it out for you?

not sure. I know a lot of the sensors are the same or very similar. the bigest difference which is causing dificulty id that the ET doesn't use throttle position for the maps just rpm and MAF, using a det address file loads up tps on the scale

looked on ztechz and havn't got any replies yet, there's a lot of people asking the same question and not many people with the info

Who build the ECU? I know at one point Nissan used Bosch systems.. not sure if thats old enough that it would be. Thats why we have so man sensor connectors that are Bosch style.

The Bosche system would have been a TPS vs RPM system as opposed to a MAF vs RPM system, don't you think?

no the ET uses the same MAF as the DET so I guess it must be a very early ECCS system. I'll remove the ECU this weekend and look into it some more

Is it metal instead of plastic? I think I have one of those AFMs

yes it's a metal housing identical to an early ca18det s13 (uk spec) afm (with idle mixture adjustment screw)

the CA18ET uses an early version of the ECCS. Maybe even the first iteration.

In the S12, the CA18 used the ECCS and the CA20 used the EFI system.

and just to make it easier, there are 2 different ecu's that look the same externally but have different boards and chips.
