CA18ET NOT DET not starting

Bought an 84 200sx Turbo locally for 500$ and now I'm trying to get it running. It trys to crank, but just will not start. From what I can tell, its getting fuel and spark, but it still wont turn over. Any ideas on what it could be? (Bone stock.)

Also, any idea on who sells IC sets for the ET?

Have you checked the compression? Do you have any vac leaks? How do you know it's getting fuel and spark? Is the cam timing off?

Guy that I bought it from said the same thing. It trys to turn over, but it wont. Everything checks out. I haven't done any comp tests or check for vac leaks as I just got it a few days ago and haven't had much time to tinker.

Sounds to me like it could be that the Timing is off or there must be a vac leak.

Do the green and red ecu lights come on? Could be a bad ecu. You're sure it's getting spark?As far as ic kits............there are none avail. mine was doing the same things does it smell like gas when you crank it? try this unplug the fuel pump then crank it for like 5 min on and off. it will most likely turn over let it run like that for awhile then while its running plug your fuel pump back in
