I had this problem before but rarely. The problem is: press 1/2 pedal to like 3500rpm(I have approx psi at that moment. After that I WOT and when I reach full boost(like 4000rpm at that moment) the engine shut and goes again(4500) shut and goes again(5000) etc.I'm suspecting Coils or the maf. What could be the problem?

Are you running the stock rubber intake tube by any chance?

I was thinking maybe I was hitting the boost cut because of an blown turbo vaccum line. I will hookup my boostgauge tomorow.

Ya that would be a good idea, and your wastegate line is busted. Your lucky you didn't blow your motor. You could be running unlimited boost if your wastegate line is busted.

sorry im thread jacking, but seems kinda pointless to start a new thread with the same problems as you

i have my wastegate hooked up like this ..

do you guys think i should try and tee the line for the wastegate off the line for the BOV?

And my sparkplugs are pretty black; think that could be a factor? And im using the stock rubber intake, if that means anything.

Found the problem. Blown vaccuum line. Damn that things pull at 14psi.

Sounds like the problem is solved. If any of you guys seea need to keep this thread, let me know and I'll re-open it. But as of now, it looks like you guys figured out the issue here, so I'm going to close it for now.
