CA18DET Wiring Question

well im doing an auto to manual conversion with my CA18 swap, and im getting kind of confused. I have the HeavyThrottle swap printed out and it says to: connect the "THICK BLACK W/YELLOW AND WHITE" wires togeter to bypass the starter. ---DONE

in the CA18 wiring that stickied on here...it says that the starter positive terminals (the lowest one) are different. i think i found the wire that im supposed to use for that to be the THICK BLACK W/YELLOW wire from by the passenger fuse box.

please help guys. im going to go back into the garage and start trying to figure it out..but i think im a little confused lolThanks!

UPDATE:

I have the alternator connected and everything is good there..

i was thinking and had another question. I jumped the "Black w/Yellow stripe" wire and "White" wire by the passenger fuse box together, so do i even need to hook a wire to that other spot on the starter? Im confused on that..Thanks guys/gals

yes, the black/yellow and white wires go to/from the neutral safety switch on the transmission, allowing the car to only start when in park or neutral. You still run the starter signal wire like normal.

may i ask what the starter signal wire color is on the KA auto lower harness? i guess thats what is confusing me. And i connected the two wires that came out RIGHT BY THE FUSE BOX. that is correct? Thanks man!

this is the Black w/yellow stripe wire on the KA auto lower harness. is this the starter signal wire?

is this correct to bypass the starter interlock? (white wire and black w/yellow wire)

alright...i SEARCHED and SEARCHED and SEARCHED (haha) and finally got a for sure answer on the wiring. I F-ed up the Black w/yellow and the plain white wire..(heavy throttle should clear that up..IMO) I guess its the Black /white stripe and Black w/Yellow Stripe that i needed to jumper.

i still have a few connectors and wires. one is brown with silver(ka lower harness) idk i'll check it out tomorrow, im way to lazy tonight. Thanks for reading my dumbass post lol!

can you post pics of you transmission harness? I am doing the same thing and having the same problems with the transmission wiring.
