Hello guys,

I am in the middle of swapping a ca18det into my ae86 toyota. I bought a used motor offline from a "jdm" engine supplier. Motor itself is in fine shape no problems there.

The wiring harness was cut in half, and the plugs that went for power/grounds ect was also missing. I had a friend who does tons of sr20 swaps and wiring and toyota work go through the harness. we sorted it out and i had about 4 power wires and 2 grounds.

I hooked the harness up in the chassis, ran my power and hooked up grounds and i was not getting spark.

ALSO i have been looking at wiring diagrams but they are so complicated and nissan splices so many things together. I know the ecu needs a constant 12v from the battery, i don't even have that. i was getting power to pins 49 and 59 as per the FSM. The wiring was so messed up and ive been checking into things, and there is so much.

DOES anyone have some definite wiring as it would swap into a 240sx or know what i can do to hook this up correct. I have a resistor box, the maf, the ignitor and related items.

also in the fsm i see they have you test a pin 44 for ground for the Neutral safety switch, if this pin is missing or not hooked up would this cause a no spark or fuel issue? Is there a good wiring diagram i can use?
