I am desperately seeking an uncut wire harnes for a ca18det? I have exhausted all my resources trying to find one. If you have one for sale i will pay paypal and payment for item will be received immediately. Or we can set up other payment arrangements. If anyone knows of anyone or anyone knows of a shop that can find one for me please let me know. thanks

Try contacting Michael at Jarco Inc.......their near Atlanta, and he's pretty helpful, and might be able to help you out.

Yeah... rare as hen's teeth! I gave up and posted a WTB on a couple of Aussie forums. A mechanic in OZ had one that I purchased for $90 + shipping. If all else fails, you might try that approach. Good luck!

im in the SAME boat. i tried both Jarco and JHOT and neither of them have anything. Jarco has a CA18det ECU but thats about it.

A bit of advice to all of you guys, if you find an engine and transmission for $700, but no harness, it's not worth it. Sometimes what you see as a deal isn't always a deal at all unless it was given to you for free. It's best to just buy a complete motorset and save the headache because in the end you will stay pay the same amount or very close to it. Good luck to all of you guys that hunt for these harnesses.

A cut harness isn't THAT hard to fix, it's just time consuming. Yes, you can make the CA16 harness work, but you'll need a different ECU.

A ECU plug for the u12 and a few inches of wires hanging off of it. Then rewire that to the CA16 harness.
