I tried searching this topic but found mixed results, well my question is the ca18det lighter then sr20det, if so by how much?. Thanks

a ca weighs 269 pounds (122kgs)

i not sure as i havent got any sr20 weights but i think the ca is lighter

ca18det is some 26kg lighter than a sr redtopand about 40kg from the newer model sr's

i know SCC said the sr red top and transmission weigh 493lbs. the transmission isnt all that heavy, so it gives you an idea.

two CA's w/ trannies and manifolds & etc on a pallet (Actually a stack of 2) weighed a little over 1100lbs IIRC.

A single person can 'easily' (without hurting themself) lift and move a bare CA block w/o anything in it. Add the crank in and most of us can't lift it alone without injury.

I'd have to go find my actual shipping bill to be sure the weight.
